Over at the website of the International Centre for Transitional Justice, there is an interesting online debate going on: "Is the international community abandoning the fight against impunity?" The first two speakers have weighed in: prominent Canadian scholar Michael Ignatieff (who says "Yes"), and Prince Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein of Jordan, currently the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (who says "No").
It appears that the plan is for more distinguished commentators to contribute to the debate, including ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda. Given the prestige of the speakers, worth a look.
